Many have referred to Silent Hill as one of the best video game adaptations of all time and my friends, I’m inclined to agree. There is very little I didn’t like about this movie. Sure it dragged at some points, but overall, it was incredible.

Silent Hill has enough blood and gore to keep the bloodlusters and gore-hounds happy, but it also has a great story. It sticks faithfully to the game it was based on; recreating many moments from the game in detail.

The acting is solid and even when the story gets a bit slow, it doesn’t lose the viewer. The movie succeeds on all levels. It’s scary, disturbing, gory and genuinely creepy.
