Best Slasher Movies

A killer croc munching on tourists. I have to say, I love the premise and Rogue delivers, even if it does go a little lite on the gore.

Rogue is suspenseful and really succeeds most because of the decision to keep the croc hidden for most of the movie. We see glimpses of what’s lurking in the water, but by keeping it out of sight for the most part, the viewer is allowed to use their imagination.

Of course Rogue is doomed to be compared to Jaws and Lake Placid and in all honesty, it doesn’t fair well in either case, but on its own, Rogue is a great film. Watch it without preconceptions and you won’t be disappointed.
